All around everywhere

I’ve been hoping and praying
Each day that would pass
That today would be the day
I’ve been hiding how I felt
From all the world
For fear of what they might say

But all that’s gone
You make it all okay
I can be just who I want to
And for this
I say thanks
You let me do what I do

There could be a million things
That I could say
But I fear they won’t suffice
For all your kindess
And all of your trust
You and I just feel right

So I look in your eyes
I fade away
To the serene world inside
No longer I’ll be hidden
No longer inside
No more, but feeling so right

So many things I feel
So much to say
But I fumble on my thoughts
So much emotion I see
When I die in your eyes
So many forget me nots

And all of this magic
All of these dreams
Came true the very first night
When you smiled at me
And pressed yourself close
I knew it’d be all right

And I wish I could say
What I’ve been meaning to tell you
All along, since I first knew
There’s never been someone before
Never in my life
That I cared for, as I care for you

So in closing I say
As I end this letter
Know you’re the reason I try
You give me hope
And keep me smiling
And you’ll never make me cry
